On the strip between Coal Drops Yard and granary square there is a very incognito spot called Spiritland. You walk past the large draping red velvety curtains and are transported into a different society. To your right there is a long light wood bar, backed with a myriad of spirits and vinyls. As you swing to your left you are hit by the real disco/70s theme. The furniture is eclectic, yet functional, the room is all set up ready for a set in someone’s living room. The final element that ties them all together is the music, a selection of music from all genres but all have a unifying theme of prevailing serene cool that sets the tone for a great time. I had the mezcal mule which was a delightful twist on the classic. A amazing place for a drink and a catch up.
